---------------------------------------------------------------- ***********************CHANGE HISTORY*************************** -------------------No Better Place To Die----------------------- 2.7: Somehow lost the Kirby Smith Variant, re-added here. 2.6: Added Turn and Phase Counter/Ticker Updated the Extended Lines Markers for both sides; use Ctrl-L (text label) to mark the Extended Line (no need to point an arrow). 2.5: Added a missing ford in hex 18.23 (thanks to Keith Todd for pointing that out). 2.4: Map pack enhancement with 3d effects! 2.3: Added the variant "Kirby Smith Goes to Murfreesboro" by Rob Bottos (with permission of Rob Bottos) - from Operations #48. -S Corps added -CSA Loss chart updated -Straggler "tick" marks are now blue (as opposed to red) to make them stand out from Hits. 2.0: The never ending project! Enabled the "Mark when Moved" trait. 1.9: We discovered that playing the module via pbem was proving difficult with the hidden Loss Charts (only the owner could open them). This since pbem for the series usually has the phasing player mark casualties and stragglers for both sides in order to expedite the playing of turns. So - I've add a "Property Sheet" for all the units that can be accessed by pressing ctrl-p (or right mouse click). In that sheet, each counter will need to have its current Morale Level entered, and the number of available boxes for each of the fire levels (leave fire levels that the unit doesn't have empty). So, if a unit has 4 boxes for the "AA" fire level, the boxes would have "0/4" entered, showing that zero boxes of the AA level have stragglers/casualties. Check a box as stragglers/casualties are taken. Below the fire level boxes are text boxes to record the number of casualties and stragglers as well as the "wrecked at" level. As casualties/stragglers are taken, enter how many of each in the appropriate text box and check off the fire level boxes for the total of both. Adjust as stragglers are recovered. The "wrecked at" text box should have the number of boxes on the to the left of the check mark that is on the actual loss chart. When the number of casualties/stragglers reaches the "wrecked at" value, that brigade is wrecked. For Division leaders, use only the Casualties, Stragglers and "Wrecked at" text boxes. If using the Properties Sheet, you should be able to do away with using Fire Level Markers (just look at the property sheet to see where the current fire level is at). 1.8: Added the ability to delete/clone Fire Level and Numbered markers. 1.7: Gave the Extend Lines Markers the same traits as the units. They now have the same right click menu options that the units have (low ammo, morale, fire levels, etc). 1.6: Added USA/CSA VL (Victory Location) markers that do not stack with other markers. Also added optional "Aide" markers. My intent here is to use them to transport orders instead of the method used in the rules (counting the # of hexes, multiply by 10 for leader movement, etc). Just use the Aide marker (flips to USA/ CSA sides) and move them per the leader movement rate. Optionally, you could have it possible that Aides can be intercepted and killed, thus, the orders he was carrying would be forever lost. A Text Label trait is attached to the Aide marker. Use that to distinguish which HQ he is travelling from-to. 1.5: Changed the Die/Dice from the default single/double dice to "Symbolic Dice". Five dice are rolled per the instructions given in v3.0 of the rules. The dice are labelled and a small dice window will display along with output to the chat window. NOTE: If you need a single or double die roll (only), just use the first/second die's from the five dice roll. 1.4: Added a keyboard shortcut list under Help Menu. Added Fire Level markers for units (range from C-AAA). This will save you from having to flip over units to check fire levels every time they fire. Place Fire Level Markers for ALL your units, and then "hide" them (Ctrl+I). Now, all you have to do is mouse over your stack to see the fire levels. Note: The Fire Level marker that is in the Counter Mix DOES NOT have the extra fire levels, nor can it be hidden. It is the generic Fire Level marker. Access these unique Fire Level markers by right clicking on the unit or by shortcut Alt+F. Added "Fired" markers to help keep track of who has fired during a phase and who hasn't. Access them by right clicking on the fired unit or Shortcut Shift+F 1.3: You can now select the side "Master" in order to view both loss charts when creating a scenario file. Fixed some traits that were mislabelled on some information markers ("switch sides" should of read "Flip"). Note: If you create a .sav game (setup) under the player side of "Master", you will remain the "Master" even after you close and reload the game. If you want to assume a side, you will need to edit your preferences and change your nickname/password and then restart the module and load the save file. So, it may be best to make a player account just for creating setup files first. Sorry for the need to jump through hoops - I know of no other way to handle it at this point. Note: The original game did not include Artillery Ammo markers nor Casualty markers and tracks. I did create these markers for the game, however there are no tracks for them. I have debated on making these tracks, but I think it's just as easy to use the "Notes" window to record these values. 1.2: Moved the Detached artillery pieces to the "Other" tab of the respective sides (they were in the "Markers" tab). Corrected some mislabelled items on the right click context menu. 1.1: Initial version release.
