NFL Strategy Copyright ©Tudor Games VASSAL Module by Gary Krockover Artwork: Gary Krockover v1.5 10/1/2006 • Plays will now always return to their proper playbook when the "Return to Playbook" button is pressed. • The clock is now self-adjusting when the plays are returned to the playbook. For Time-Outs, add back the appropriate time: Runs, Kickoff returns=4 ticks, Passes=2 ticks • The purple button now indicates that the playbook also contains Play Action Passes (P.A.P.) v1.4 09/29/2006 Per request, added random text buttons that will select either Offensive or Defensive plays for solitaire play. Suggestions for use: re-pick when not applicable. Short Yardage is not in the list, use it where appropriate. v1.3 09/24/2006 Resized the images by scaling the entire thing down 66.66% making the memory-heap footprint smaller (I hope). Out of memory issues (playbooks not showing plays, field not showing the ball, etc) should be corrected. Please let me know if you continue to have problems and you have at least 256mb of system RAM. v1.0 09/20/2006 Quick Start Instructions: The colored buttons will open the playbooks - one for the defense and red, blue, purple & silver for the offense. Find the play to run, right click and then select it. The play will be sent to the View Window - hidden. After your opponent has selected his play, Ctrl-F on the View Window to reveal the plays. Press the "Randomizer" (dice) button. It is a D100. The D100 scale is printed on the game board beside the image of the actual randomizer. Locate the results of the play. Tick off time: Right click on the Time Arrow and select the play type/result that was just run. It will mark off your time. Note the "2 Min" options, which can be used for the last 2 minutes of each half. All the numbers on the scoreboard can be activated and used to track the score, down, quarter and time-outs. Click to select a number and then ctrl-] or ctrl-[ (or right click) to adjust. Click the "Return to Playbook" to send the plays back to their respective playbooks. Choose your next play!
