Card Play
Player windows can be viewed by anyone. Use the buttons in the toolbar of the Cards window to set up the deck for the appropriate number of players.
All non-Headline cards may be right-clicked and played to: Sell (Ctrl-S) or Discard (Ctrl-D). Selling a card will generate a message indicating the amount of gold earned. Cards can be dragged to the Discard pile if desired, but no message will be generated. To retrieve a specific card from the Discard Pile, right-click the pile and choose "Draw Specific Cards".
Hacendados
Draw a card off the stack of hacendados on the Cards window to get a random selection. Right-click a hacendado to flip him or toggle his Jailed status.
Cubes and Gold
Before the game starts, drag all 15 of your side's cubes and your gold tracker to the main board somewhere near your chosen hacendado. Right-click a gold marker to set its value.
Unrest
Right-click an Enterprise to set any amount of unrest. Clear the value entirely to remove any indication of unrest (i.e., don't use 0).
Regime
Right-click the fixed regime card to set the correct regime, view the current Topple conditions, or start/end a Depression. In a Depression, the normal Mine and Bank payouts are greyed out. Right-click to add a blue disk if the President Wilson Recognizes the Mexican Regime headline occurs.
