II. How Players join/create game.

Step 1. Create a new game and join as an observer, or Horde/Alliance Player, depending on how you've determined teams and sides. Only one player per Horde/Alliance, 1, 2, and 3 Players can be chosen. To switch sides or Player number at any time, use the "Choose Side/Player" button to do so.

Step 2. Set up your game as per the game rulebook. The overlord token can be found by clicking the "Monster" button, then drag the token to its starting area.

Step 3. Draw the starting merchant deck, right click the drawn cards and "Send to Merhcant Deck".

Step 4. Hero pieces and starting experience track token can be found on the characer sheet portraint. Move them to the game board to their starting areas.

Step 5. Click the "Quest" button from your faction side to open the window and draw them accordingly. We've provided a "Randomizer" as well to randomly choose sides, overlord, hero, or roll a D8 to assist in your game set up. All decks are automatically shuffled and you're ready to start your game. VI. Other Interractions and Dev Notes

#1: Note regarding the "Send to Spellbook/Item Bag" feature for powers and items: if you are controlling more than one character, it may be easier to simply drag the item or power card to the desired character window rather than use this feature. The reason being that you would have to first change your side to be the appropriate player first in order for the power or item to go to the intended character.

#2: When playing with Lord Kazzak as the Overlord, be sure that the player placing the Lord Kazzak token is NOT joined as an observer and is instead joined as an actual player side. Otherwise, the "Peek" function will not work properly.

#3: How to complete "silent" auctions for Event (soulbound) items: Each player must:
    a) click the "Notes" button and then the "delayed" tab.
    b) Click the "New" button and give the delayed notes entry a name identifying the bidder (you) and enter the amount of gold you wish to bid for the item in the Text area.
    c) Click Save. The Notes window will close. Re-open it and again go to the "Delayed" tab.
    d) As players do this, each should be able to see the bid entries appear as they are saved, but not their values.
    e) Once all players have finished saving their bids, they each must (as simultaneouly as possible) click the "Reveal" button and then the "Save" button quickly afterward.
    f) Finally, open the Notes window once more to see the actual bid amounts entered to determine the auction winner.
