Notes on the Vassal Module for SDC's Dunkerque 1940 The Command Menu land units can have the following items: * Mask (Ctrl-M) - Mask the counter so that its identity and strength will not be known to the enemy player. Press again to unmask. For details on masking, see http://www.vassalengine.org/wiki/Mask. * Add Hold (Ctrl-H) - Cycle through "1H", "2H", "3H", or nothing. Holds are represented at the bottom left of the unit counter rather than by a separate piece. * Delete (Ctrl-X) - Delete the piece. * Send to Dead Pile (Ctrl-S) - Sends Allied units to the upper left corner of the board; sends German units to the upper right. * Movement Trail - Toggle the trail on or off. * Reduce (Ctrl-R) - Replace a full-strength unit with its half-strength version. The Command Menu for air units includes only Mask, Delete, and Send to Dead Pile. Land combat in Dunkerque 1940 is resolved not by a dieroll, but by each player secretly selecting a chit numbered from 1 to 4, revealing them simultaneously, and cross-indexing the numbers on the appropriate Defense Position Card table. The chits in the module are maskable. A ver. 1.0 replacement file was uploaded on 1/3/2016. The only change is that the map has undergone some badly needed retouching to deal with the seams and folds.
