Notes on the Vassal Module for SPI's Winter War

For the most part, this is a straightforward module. The map and charts are unmodified scans, except that I have moved and reoriented the charts and tables so that they are upright on the screen (in addition, they are available as separate images viewable via the Charts & Tables toolbar button). The counters, while not scans, closely follow the original versions.

Finnish units can be masked to hide their identities during the initial setup.  Select "Mask" from the unit's command menu (this command is visible only to the Finnish and Solitaire players).  Select it again to unmask the unit.

Selecting "Send to Dead Pile" on the command menu for a Soviet unit sends it to the White Sea.  Selecting it for a Finnish or Allied unit sends it to the Gulf of Bothnia.
