Lettow-Vorbeck Errata (Questions answered by designer) ===================== 1. Elite units are not subject to panic results while defending so BRT die roll of 5 has no effect in this case. 2. Garrisons (with crate and yellow combat strength) never move. 3. Belgian, Portuguese and garrison units drawn as recruits can only be placed in their initial locations. If they cannot be placed on the map they are returned to the pool and another unit drawn instead. 4. Card LV-07 (South Africans): On the second pick of this card, if card LV-01 ‘Smuts in Command’ is already in the discard pile it can be ignored as the game will end before the draw deck runs out. If it is not either discard it and draw again if it does come up or look in the remaining deck, remove it, then reshuffle (without adding back in the cards already discarded). 5. Card LV-08 (Attrition): garrisons and units in the Indian Ocean & South African Reinforcements Boxes are not subject to attrition. 6. Card LV-09 (Royal Navy Support): only British units can move and attack. 7. Card LV-11 (Mobilize Colony): place one unit in each supply centre in German East Africa occupied by German units 8. Portugal counts as an ally even if it has not been activated by the end of the game. 9. Belgian Congo - North Rhodesian border is just south of the Belgian Congo space.
