How to install the extensions.

1. Download the main module and don't rename the file.  It should be "Memoir44v8.vmod" in this case.

2. In the same folder where the module is saved, create folder for the extension with the following title: "Memoir44v8_ext"

3. Download the extension file (such as "TerrainPack.vmdx") into the extension folder you just created.

4. That's it.  When you load the Memoir '44 module (via the "Play Module" button as normal), the extension should automatically be loaded into it and this should be noted in the chat window when Vassal opens.

Which extensions should you get?

You could always get them all, but here is a general overview of what's what if you are looking for something specific:

TerrainPack.vmdx
	Basically contains what is in the Terrain Pack expansion, plus some more. It'd be a good idea to get this extension as it's required by almost everything. Contains a lot of badges as well.

EasternFront.vmdx
	Extension on the Eastern Front expansion. Contains things like winter tiles, and the Russian army.

MediterraneanTheater.vmdx
	Extension on the Mediterranean expansion. Contains desert tiles, and the British army. A lot of newer scenarios will need this extension for the anti-tank special weapons badge that was introduced with this expansion.

PacificTheater.vmdx
	Extension on the Pacific expansion. Contains the Japanese army and pacific tiles.

Overlord.vmdx
	Contains Overlord boards and Overlord Command deck. If you want to play an Overlord scenario, you'll need this.

AirPack.vmdx
	Contains airplanes from the Air Pack expansion, but also other things that are commonly used, such as Exit markers and Smoke, and winter and desert hill terrain tiles.

Breakthrough.vmdx
	Contains the Breakthrough boards and Breakthrough Command deck. If you want to play anything Breakthrough, you'll need this one. Also contains Supply Trucks.

WinterWars.vmdx
	Contains the Winter Wars expansion. Includes the Winter Combat deck, more special winter terrain tiles and winter bridges, Camouflage, and badges for the Flak 88mm guns, Tank Destroyers, Machine Guns.

TigerInTheSnow.vmdx
	Tigers in the Snow Battle Map scenarios. Also contains the Tiger tank unit, which is used in some other newer scenarios.

DisasterAtDieppe.vmdx
	Disaster At Dieppe Battle Map scenarios.

CampaignBookVol1.vmdx
	To play the Campaign Book Vol. 1 scenarios. You will need your Campaign Book for the Campaign rules and sheets.

VercorsCampaign.vmdx
	The scenarios from the Vercors Campaign from the DoW website.

Brummbar.vmdx
	Some extra user created scenarios.

WesternFront.vmdx
	Extra western front scenarios.
