Sequence of Play
- Mandated Offensive Phase
Each player rolls 1 die to determine their Mandated Offensive
- Action Phase
Starting with the Central Powers player, take alternating Action Rounds one at a time until both players have completed 6 Action Rounds
- Attrition Phase
Eliminate all OOS corps and armies, changing control of spaces where necessary
- Siege Phase
Roll a die for each besieged fort to determine if it surrenders
and is marked Destroyed
- War Status Phase
- Check VP Table and adjust status when conditions are met
- Check for Automatic Victory
- Check if an Armistice has been declared
- Both players check if War Commitment Level has increased (not on Turn 1, August 1914)
- Replacement Phase
First Allied player, then Central Powers player spends accumulated RPs
- Draw Strategy Card Phase
Optionally discard any Combat Cards, then draw cards to fill hand, reshuffling discards if required
- End of Turn
If the game has not ended, advance the Turn Marker and start a new turn beginning with the Mandated Offensive Phase
