• There is no
automation to speak of in this module; other than randomization where
necessary, all functions are performed manually.
• Dummy units
with strengths but no morale ratings have been set up for each of the
Scenarios. Deployed dummy units must be replaced by actual units of the same
strength (randomly) drawn from the Force Pools; reinforcements will be drawn as
they arrive as indicated on the Game Turn track.
• In a few later
Scenarios, there are more Confederate forces then can be handled by the
Organization Display. To allow double usage of the tracks, a set of
Admin/Ammo/Guns/Morale markers labeled "Alt" have been provided, as
well as "Leader X Troops" markers. When there are multiple excess
forces to be handled, it is recommended that duplicate leader markers be placed
on the Organization Display tracks to distinguish which "Leader X"
corresponds to that set of "Alt" markers.
• The Scenario
Information help file includes Replacement Rates and total Ammo Points; the
latter must be distributed among the forces on the Organization Display before
play begins.
• A "Dead
Pool" area has been created on the lower left of the Organization
Displays.
• Unused Cavalry
Corps markers may be found on the leader portraits on the Organization
Displays.
• Minor module
error: Partisans are drawn randomly when, in fact, Mosby always appears first.
