Welcome to WbtS v1.5

Unfortunately, it took me two years to come up with a workable semi-automated combat resolution. The first try worked with calculated VASSAL properties in a way that stalled the module for minutes. The second now is based on what has been done for Vietnam 4.x by Pecete. Thanks a lot.

Changes in version 1.5

- New cards from the update kit published by GMT have been incorporated.

- Mising Leaders have been added: Maximilian, Lamboy, Birkenfeld, Craatz (swe), Wilhelm.

- The combat results table is now integrated.

- Scenario set-ups are provided.

In this module, I tried to ease the procedures as much as possible. Most of which relies on right mouse clicks for cross-window movement of pieces. If you insist on dragging piece from one window to another by hand, you might lose major parts of the modules functionality.

Map

Fatigue Markers are placed by Colums via context menu.

Forage Markers are placed by Colums via context menu.

At the end of the season, press the main control window button New Season, and Forage 1 will disappear, Forage 2 degrade to Forage 1.

If you accidentally placed a Forage marker, activate it (shift Click) and delete it via Alt Ctrl Shift X.

The Initiative Card flips and automatically moves to near the respective player's Cadre Box via context menu.

The is no VP marker. When you click on one of the faction's VP counter, a window opens where you note the new VP value. Values like 12,5 are possible.

The track is not used for Sieges. Via context menu of the Column, you place the appropriate marker (Siege F = Strong Fortress, Siege f = Fortress, Siege T = Strong Town, Siege t = Town). In a little date window the context menu shows a spread sheet with the basic amount of siege points needed (at start value already noted) and the siege points you built. If necessary you can increase or decrease the points needed and adjust the number of points built. Make sure that you hit enter before you close the little data window or click somewhere else.

Cards

You draw card to your private cards window. The draw of multiple card at once is encouraged.

You play cards via context menu by choosing the round they are used for.

Columns

In the upper right  corner of the column window, you see the current size of the column for BP points expenditure purposes.

Step Losses, Recovery and Movement to the Cadre Box as well as a deletion should be done via context menu of the respective unit.

When you go to battle, you should use the button of the Column window.

Battle

Use your factions side of the Battle Board. When you divide the unit between wings in major battle, it keeps track of the fire strength each wing sports. When you push a wing's fire button, the losses are reported which the opposite wing has to suffer. Bombardment is handled accordingly.

Use the context menu to apply losses/movements to cadre box and send back any survivors back to the column they came from (which you have to remember yourself, unfortunately).

Chits

Chits are stored in draw piles for the respective Leaders. Return them to their draw pile via context menu.
